A hall built in 1939 and kept as a shell. Since 2014 it is filled with Salzburg's everyday life: a market hall, 65 companies, a coworking loft, two homes, a beauty loft, a stage. The brand does what the building does. One fixed frame. A living fill.

01 Idee
The frame and the fill
In Hülle und Fülle is the German idiom for abundance. At Panzerhalle it is literal. The Hülle is the shell that was kept: brick walls, exposed concrete, a spruce ceiling, north light through the clerestory. The Fülle is everything that now happens inside: sushi at 11:00, a company meeting, a haircut, 300 guests on a Saturday.
Every design decision expresses this pair. The frame is quiet, square, permanent and always the same. The fill is vivid, changing and always contained. When something on a screen is loud, it is a fill. When something is structural, it is the frame.
This inverts the category. Converted industrial venues in the DACH region are charcoal, gold, condensed-uppercase and photographed at night. Panzerhalle is light, brick-red, wide and photographed at noon.
- Beton ruhig, Fülle laut. The shell is quiet. Loudness is reserved for one fill per view.
- Eine Farbe pro Blick. One zone colour visible at a time. Two never touch.
- Alles rechtwinklig, ein Schnitt. Everything square. The single chamfer marks what is primary.
- Zahlen sind Typografie. Hours, prices, areas, capacities are set as objects in mono.
- Deutsch zuerst, gleichwertig Englisch. Both languages are written, not translated.
- Das Gebäude ist die Geschichte. Brick, concrete, light, 1939 / 2014. Never the war.
02 Marke
Der Rahmen
The mark is the hall's cross-section in one stroke: two walls, the roof, the raised clerestory, open at the bottom. The opening is the point. The shell does not close; life flows in and out. Square caps, miter joins, stroke 10 on a 100 grid.
Panzerhalle

- Clear space 0.5 × mark height. Minimum 16 px (favicon), 24 px in UI, 8 mm print.
- Sits on the bottom edge of a format when possible; the edge completes the walls.
- Never closed, rotated, rounded, outlined, shadowed or combined with the previous line-drawing logo.
- Wordmark: Anybody, width 125, weight 700, uppercase, tracking −0.01 em. Outline to paths for print.
03 Farbe
Two colour worlds
Hülle neutrals come from the materials and are always the ground. Fülle chroma is one vivid colour per zone, always inside a frame, surface or block. Ziegel, the brick, is the single primary and bridges both. Components reference alias tokens only.

Width is the voice
Three Open Font License families. Anybody is variable in width and weight: expanded for the shell, condensed for dense labels. Schibsted Grotesk carries body and UI. Azeret Mono sets every number that is data.

05 Form
Everything square, one cut
The hall is rectilinear; so is the system. border-radius: 0 on every surface. The only circles are people (avatars) and the toggle knob.
Der Schnitt is the single chamfer, top-right, at the roof's pitch: horizontal run twice the vertical drop (1:2, about 27°). It appears on primary buttons, featured cards, hero media and the frame device. Never on inputs, tables, chips or every card. It marks what is primary.
No blurred drop shadows. Depth is expressed by 1 px and 2 px borders and by stepping surfaces (Beton 000 → 100 → 200). The one shadow, --ph-shadow-edge, is a 1 px hard edge for sticky bars.

Fills enter a fixed frame
Frames are still. Content rises, wipes or draws into them. Nothing floats, bounces or springs. Only transform, opacity, clip-path and stroke offsets animate. Reduced motion zeroes every duration through the tokens; everything is visible at rest.
Füllen, the signature: a fill rises inside a frame from the open bottom, 640 ms, easing Tor. Zeichnen: the frame draws its stroke. Senken: exits accelerate down, 140 ms, easing Hebel.

Daylight, people mid-action, materials in frame
Photography is the image system. Daylight through the clerestory, morning and midday. People cutting, plating, typing, setting up, never posed. At least one of brick, concrete, spruce or container steel in every venue shot. Frontal or 90° axes, level horizon, vertical lines vertical. Neutral grade: shadows slightly cool, highlights slightly warm.
Illustration is limited to architectural section drawings in 2 px Stahl stroke and the Rahmen device. No mascots, isometric scenes, 3D renders or stock smiles. Historic photographs appear only in the „1939 / 2014" story module, captioned, in their original tone.
Icons: Lucide only, 24 grid, 1.75 px stroke, CSS-forced square caps and miter joins so the set reads as steel.
